Bourbon and orange don't usually go together, unless it's a slice dropped into an Old Fashioned, but this cocktail adds a splash of orange liqueur to bourbon and tops it off with ginger ale to counter the sweetness.

  • 1 1/4 oz Maker’s Mark bourbon
  • DeKuyper orange curaçao liqueur
  • Ginger ale
  • Garnish: Orange wedge
  1. Fill rocks glass with ice.

  2. Add the bourbon, orange curaçao liqueur and a squeeze of fresh orange and stir.

  3. Top off with ginger ale, and garnish with an orange wedge.
